Mission

The mission of the information and technology department is to provide leadership in information and learning technologies by deploying secure and accurate infrastructures. We achieve this by developing effective and reliable information systems and excellent support services by partnering with our constituents to ensure technology resources are applied effectively and efficiently which increase quality and access for the university community.

Policies

Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ polices as well as Texas and US laws apply to all computing resources. Please make sure you adhere to these when using Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ computing resources. Also keep in mind that all computing and information systems at Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ are the property of the university and therefore you have no reasonable expectation of privacy when using those systems. If you have any questions, please contact the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­D Help Desk or view the University’s information technology policies.

Services

The Office of Information Technology provides support for computing, instruction, telecommunications and data communications at Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­. In addition, the Office of Information Technology team offers one-on-one and group training sessions.
