The Office of Student Engagement offers leadership development programs for students to learn more about themselves, develop sharper skills, and reflect on their impact on campus. Our biggest events include the IGNITE Leadership Retreat, Cord & Ring Ceremony, and the Campus Awards.

Campus Awards
This annual celebration of students, staff, faculty, and student organizations invites the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»D community to nominate our best and brightest Trailblazers. The purpose of these awards is to acknowledge the outstanding work and contributions made in the past year to improve our campus, community and our world.
IGNITE Leadership Retreat
The Ignite Leadership Retreat is an annual, off-campus leadership development program that happens during the fall semester. Students who participate will learn about personal responsibility, teamwork, and communication while enjoying hands-on experiences to evolve as leaders.
Dates of the 2026-2027 IGNITE Leadership Retreat are September 10th to 13th.
Student Leadership
Our students are exceptional student leaders, members of organizations and teams, organizers of community service, and true trailblazers. There are a few ways to serve as a student leader on campus. Join an organization, be our mascot, or work for the Office of Student Engagement as one of our student employees.
