Eligibility
- Must be a student at the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»;
- Must be in good academic standing with the University by the time of their assumption of office with a minimum GPA of a 2.5;
- For President and Vice President, a student must have served one full academic year (i.e. two long semesters).
- All other Executive Officers must have served at least one long semester (i.e. fall or spring) in an official capacity.
- Additional eligibility requirements are listed in the SGA Governing documents.
PRESIDENT
Julisa Morones Luna
Biography: Julisa Morones Luna is a sophomore at the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³», majoring
in Justice and Social Policy. As President of the Student Government Association,
she is dedicated to advocating for the needs and interests of her fellow students
while working to create an inclusive, engaged, and empowered campus community.
Julisa is deeply passionate about justice, equity, and civic leadership. She plans
to attend law school after completing her undergraduate studies, with the goal of
entering the field of public policy. Her vision is to influence meaningful change
through legislation and reform that uplifts marginalized voices and addresses systemic
challenges. Through her leadership, Julisa is committed to driving progress—both on
campus and beyond.
