Student Alumni Ambassadors

The Student Alumni Ambassadors (SAA) program at Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ is a leadership and service initiative that connects current students with alumni, fosters school spirit, and builds a bridge between the student body and the university’s alumni network. Ambassadors serve as the student voice of the Office of Alumni Relations and represent Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ at key events and initiatives.

Purpose

To cultivate a lifelong connection between students and alumni by promoting pride, tradition, and engagement through meaningful service and leadership opportunities.

What Ambassadors do

Student Alumni Ambassadors:

  • Represent Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ at alumni and university events
  • Welcome alumni and guests to campus
  • Assist with alumni outreach and engagement efforts
  • Promote school spirit and university traditions
  • Serve as liaisons between the student body and the Office of Alumni Relations

Eligibility

  • Must be a currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student at Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­
  • Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Demonstrate leadership potential and a commitment to Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ values
  • Be available to attend training and participate in events throughout the academic year


How to Apply

Applications open each semester. Interested students must complete an online application and participate in an interview process. Stay tuned for upcoming deadlines and information sessions.

Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship

Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2023 with contributions from hundreds of alumni and friends, the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ Dallas Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship is open to all undergraduate majors. To be eligible for consideration, applicants must be full-time students (12 hours or more), meet the minimum entrance and continuing academic performance standards in effect at the time of any award, and demonstrate eligibility for need-based financial assistance.
