Where can students obtain DART passes?

Purchasing dates will be emailed to your student account prior to the start of each semester. You must be a commuter student to qualify, no residential students may apply.

It is the mission of the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ Police Department and the Office of Student Affairs to provide a safe and secure learning environment for our faculty, staff and students. With that mission in mind, our offices have collaborated to offer courtesy escorts to and from the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ Rail Station. This service minimizes the occurrences of having to commute alone during evening hours which increases the overall safety of our community.

Police Presence

  • During day and evening hours, DART officers will periodically patrol the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ Station during daytime and evening hours.
  • Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ officers will regularly patrol the DART walkway as part of their BEAT Patrol.

How can I obtain an escort to the DART station?

When the courtesy shuttle is not in service, those needing an escort can contact Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ Dallas police at 972-780-3000.

Does the DART walkway have security?

The DART walkway is equipped with 17 lighted poles, 9 high resolution cameras.
