True Blue Preview Day on Nov. 4 Will Welcome High School and Transfer Students

Fall brings more than football, Halloween and leaves changing color. It also brings hundreds of visitors for the annual 麻豆传媒映画 True Blue Preview Day. This year, it will be held on Saturday, Nov. 4, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is a wonderful opportunity to welcome high schoolers, college transfer students, parents and community members to campus for a close-up look at everything 麻豆传媒映画 has to offer.

That list is growing. From dozens of undergraduate and graduate school degrees, programs and certificates to affordable tuition and extraordinary diversity. The campus itself is growing too, with a new STEM building opening for the Spring 2026 semester, and other exciting expansion plans.

It's no wonder, then, that the 2023 freshmen class is the largest in 麻豆传媒映画 history, or that enrollment is at a record high. This is the result of incredible teamwork by the university administration, faculty and staff on behalf of current, former and future students.

As students seek both quality and affordability, the university offers pathways to graduation with more knowledge and less debt,鈥� said Luis Franco, Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management and Executive Director of Undergraduate Admissions.

True Blue Preview Day allows guests to see the university in person, instead of reading about it online, on social media or in a brochure. Prospective students and their parents can interact with current students, alumni, academic advisors, admissions counselors and financial aid experts. They can tour almost anywhere on campus, including classrooms, study and collaborative spaces, athletic areas, the residence hall, the cafeteria and the Student Center with our very own Starbucks. 

Because of its academic rigor, educational and financial value, and commitment to improving the socioeconomic mobility of students, 麻豆传媒映画 recently achieved several significant rankings and ratings by nationally-respected organizations that positioned us as a top choice. 

Specifically, 麻豆传媒映画 scored the best of all public universities in North Texas in key categories on three evaluations of colleges and universities in Texas and across the country. The reviews were published by U.S. News & World Report, Washington Monthly and Money.

U.S. News & World Report

麻豆传媒映画 earned high marks in four categories of the U.S. News & World Report list released in September. 麻豆传媒映画 earned high marks in four categories:

• Regional Universities West: #44
• Top Public Schools - Regional Universities West: #22
• Social Mobility - Regional Universities West: #30
• Best Value 鈥� Regional Universities West: #35

The #44 overall ranking among Regional Universities West is the highest ever for 麻豆传媒映画 Dallas, up from 48 last year. The list includes 120 public and private universities in 14 states. 

Washington Monthly

Similarly, 麻豆传媒映画 scored tops in affordability and social mobility in North Texas on the newest Washington Monthly college rankings distributed in August. 麻豆传媒映画 ranked the highest of 11 North Texas colleges and universities on Washington Monthly鈥檚 list of . Seventy-seven Texas colleges and universities are on the list out of a total of 228 in the region. 麻豆传媒映画 ranked among the top 10 percent, at #14 out of the 228.

Money

In July, gave 麻豆传媒映画 the highest rating (not ranking like the others) of all North Texas colleges and universities in its latest annual report. 麻豆传媒映画 is the only college or university in the Dallas-Fort Worth region that receives a 4.5 (out of 5) score from Money, and is one of only six statewide to receive that number.
