Canvas is the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» learning management system students use to access their courses online.
Instructors use Canvas to deliver course work, including lessons, reading materials or videos to students in online and hybrid courses. Canvas also contains a calendar allowing students to keep up with due dates posted by instructors.
Traidional face-to-face instructors can also use Cavnas in the same way online and hybrid courses do to facilitate student learning by posting instructional materials and allowing for digital submissions of student assignments and assessments.
Accessing Canvas
Two options for accessing Canvas:
- Visit in your web browser (Chrome is suggested)
- Click on the "Canvas" icon located at the top of the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» Main Webpage
Logging Into Canavs:
- Username: your EUID #
- Password: your password
Off-Contract Faculty Access:
For faculty who are newly hired or re-hired and do not yet have an active EUID, access to Canvas is provided via a "backdoor" located at . Users entering through this "backdoor" should use the credentials they were provided by DLIT.
